Fish, omega-3 fatty acids and colorectal cancer

A 22-year prospective study of fish, n-3 fatty acid intake, and colorectal cancer risk in men.

In this long-term prospective study with 22 years of follow-up there was a decreased risk for colorectal cancer with increased intakes of fish and long-chain n-3 (omega-3) fatty acids from fish.
